მასწავლებელთა პროფესიული განვითარების ეროვნული ცენტრი და ბრიტანეთის საბჭო იწვევს ინგლისური ენის პედაგოგებს დარეგისტრირდნენ ინგლისური ენის მასწავლებელთა ონლაინ საზოგადოების ტრენინგ პროგრამაზე.
სამი მოდულისგან შემდგარი 22-საათიანი ონლაინ პროფესიული განვითარების პროგრამა პედაგოგებს აღჭურავს სასარგებლო ცოდნით შეფასების მეთოდების სასწავლო პროცესში გამოყენების შესახებ.
პროგრამის მონაწილეებს ასევე ეძლევათ საშუალება გაეცნონ კოლეგების გამოცდილებას და დაამყარონ პროფესიული კავშირები. ტრენინგ პროგრამა მოიცავს სამ მოდულს (დეტალები იხილეთ განაცხადის ფორმაში), ლაივ სესიებს, ფორუმებს და რეფლექსიურ ჟურნალებს.
კურსის წარმატებით გავლის შემთხვევაში მასწავლებლებს აქტივობა უღიარდება ზოგადსაგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულების ბაზაზე პროფესიული განვითარების ვალდებულებების ნაწილში.
The British Council and The National Center for Teacher Professional Development of Georgia are happy to invite teachers of English to register for the Future English Online Teacher Community Programme (OTC).
Online Teacher Community Programme (OTC) is a 22-hour continuing professional development (CPD) programme for English teachers involved in general education delivered through the British Council Online Teacher Community (OTC) platform. The training programme involves completion of three TfS modules, active participation in the forums, live sessions and submitting self-reflective journals (SRF).
Please note: Teachers who successfully complete the training programme, will receive acknowledgement of the activity (certificate) on the basis of general education professional development responsibilities.
The programme in the autumn 2023 will take place over six weeks of study while teachers continue with their teaching. This is an important aspect of the programme because it allows the teachers supported by facilitators and ELT experts to try out new ideas and techniques and then reflect on these with the support of their online community of practice.
The autumn-2023 OTC programme consists of the following components:
- Nine (9) hours of self-access study of TfS modules
- Six (6) hours of live sessions with a moderator or facilitator
- Three (3) hours of requirement to contribute to asynchronous discussion forums (minimum 3 posts and minimum 18 comments per participant)
- Four (4) hours for completion of e-portfolio and self-reflection journals (three per each module plus one as an overall reflection on the OTC programme.
The programme will cover the following themes
- UNDERSTANDING ASSESSMENT FOR LEARNING
- ENGAGING WITH ASSESSMENT FOR LEARNING/PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE: ASSESSING LEARNING
- UNDERSTANDING TEACHING FOR TESTS

Selection Criteria
- Georgian citizenship of a teacher of English at schools in the Georgian Education system
- basic IT skills (to be able to actively engage in activities within the Online Teacher Community platform. These include logging into email accounts, posting in forums, joining Zoom sessions, switching from different tabs, resetting passwords, etc)
- English is the working language of the platform and all content used and presented will be in English so in order to fully participate and benefit from teacher training content and discussions, B1 is a minimum language level for all participants.
